This Privacy Policy sets out how Play Hosting, a trade name of Timbers Studio Ltd, uses and processes any personal information that users of our website may provide to us. This policy supplements our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy which are also available on our website.

Play Hosting is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Our policy sets out the basis on which any personal information we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified, you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Processing your personal information

Play Hosting will only process the personal information you provide to us that is necessary for the operation and management of Play Hosting’s website and any associated services you purchase from us.

Play Hosting’s data is processed and stored by Lilypad, a trade name of Lilypad Technologies Ltd and partner of Play Hosting, which is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under registration number ZB549220. As part of our operations, Lilypad handles personal data on our behalf, ensuring it is securely processed and stored in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

Data retention

We will only retain your Personal Data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, unless a longer retention period is required for legal, tax (e.g. for HMRC) or regulatory purposes, or for any other lawful legitimate business reason.

To establish the appropriate retention period for your Personal Data, we consider the amount, nature and sensitivity of the data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure, the purpose for which we process the data and whether we can fulfil those purposes through other means and applicable legal obligations.

Account deletion

You can delete your Play Hosting account and all associated data by going to the Account section of your control panel here, then clicking the Delete Account button.

Children

We recognise the particular importance of protecting privacy where children are involved. In accordance with our Terms of Service, we do not allow anyone under the age of 13 to use our services. Play Hosting does not knowingly collect Personally Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13 and if you believe we may hold such data, please contact us with the relevant information for immediate removal.
